Nikki Hinsley, M.S., CCC-SLP/ Owner

  • Nikki holds a Bachelor's in secondary education from the University of Delaware and a Master's in speech-language pathology from Pacific University. With over 8 years of experience in the private sector, she's helped 500+ children and adults, specializing in hearing loss, reading, motor speech disorders, and more.

    Committed to tailored, gold-standard care, Nikki collaborates with your team for clear, data-driven progress. Her expertise lies in hearing loss, reading and literacy learning, motor speech disorders, language processing, and orofacial myofunctional disorders.

    Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, camping, and cooking with her wife, Deana, and their two Australian Shepherds, Laney and Remy.

  • With honors, Rachael earned her Bachelor of Arts in Speech and Hearing Sciences at Portland State University (PSU). It's also where she completed her Master's of Science in speech-language pathology. With over 10 years of experience in various pediatric settings, she's excited to bring her skills to Beech Street.

    Rachael is committed to personalized, evidence-based treatment. Her professional interests include literacy, school-age language, stuttering, and phonological speech-sound disorders. Collaborating with clients to establish meaningful communication goals is her passion. She also holds advanced training in feeding therapy.

    In her off-hours, she enjoys cooking, spending time with friends, pampering her dog, Charles, and immersing herself in nature.

Beth Peckham, M.S., CCC-SLP

  • Beth holds a Bachelor’s of Science in elementary education with a reading endorsement from Pacific Lutheran University. After post-baccalaureate studies at Portland State University, she earned a Master’s of Science in speech-language pathology from Pacific University. With clinical experience spanning various pediatric populations, she's dedicated to her profession. Before her speech-language pathology career, Beth spent six years working with middle and high school students in the non-profit sector.

    Beth is a licensed speech-language pathologist in Oregon and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech and Hearing Association. Her professional interests encompass articulation, preschool and school-age language, stuttering, and literacy. She derives joy from seeing her clients grow and gain confidence in their communication. Beth has pursued advanced training in articulation and motor speech disorders.

    When not at the office, Beth enjoys gardening, volleyball, crafting, quality time with family and friends, and seeking out the best scoop of ice cream in town.

Angela Fidler, M.S., CF-SLP

  • Angela graduated from Azusa Pacific University, and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Communications with honors. As a mom of two children with hearing loss and bilateral cochlear implants, Angela was inspired by her personal experiences to further her education as a Speech Language Pathologist, and obtained her Masters in Communication Science Disorders from Emerson College. She is a licensed Clinical Fellow-Speech Language Pathologist in Oregon.

    Angela's expertise includes hearing loss, speech sound disorders, fluency, social communication, dysphagia, cognition, and AAC. Angela values a client-centered, holistic approach that blends evidenced-based practice and supportive communication methods, with client and family preferences. Angela has a passion to work with families and children with various communication disorders because she is able to blend her personal and professional experiences to meet the needs of her clients.

    Outside the clinic, Angela enjoys traveling with her husband and her two teenage kids. She enjoys snow skiing, hiking, and sings professionally for various events. Angela is currently on the board of the Pacific NW AG Bell Association, and supports families and caregivers of children with hearing loss by providing education, resources, and community connections to families within the area.

Avery Phillips, M.S.,CF-SLP

  • Avery earned her Bachelor of Arts in Speech and Hearing Sciences at the University of Colorado at Boulder and then went on to complete her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology at Eastern Washington University. She is currently a licensed Clinical Fellow Speech-Language Pathologist in Oregon, specializing in child-led, play-based therapy. With three years of experience in pediatric settings, she is excited to bring her skills to Beech Street.

    Avery is dedicated to providing personalized, trauma-informed, and evidence-based treatment.

    Her professional interests include literacy, bilingual speech therapy, school-age language, pediatric feeding, oromyofunctional therapy, therapy, gestalt language processing, and communication using assistive technology.

    She is passionate about collaborating with clients to establish meaningful and empowering communication and feeding goals, which drives her love for the field of Speech-Language Pathology.

    Outside the clinic, Avery enjoys cooking new dishes, gardening, traveling, attending concerts, going on runs, and spending time with her friends and family.

With over five years of experience in school-based and pediatric outpatient clinic settings, she's a licensed speech-language pathologist in Oregon, holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech and Hearing Association.

    Sheila's professional interests encompass augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), speech sound disorders, early childhood and school-age language, and social communication. She specializes in evaluating and treating children with complex communication needs, emphasizing coaching and collaboration with families and caregivers. Her expertise includes advanced training in AAC and autism spectrum disorders.

    In her downtime, Sheila often enjoys the outdoors, engaging in activities like hiking, gardening, yoga, and exploring the beautiful Pacific Northwest with her family.

  • Coco graduated from Loyola Marymount University, holding a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Dance with honors. She later earned her Master's in Communicative Sciences & Disorders from New York University and received additional training from the International Association of Orofacial Myology (IAOM). She is a licensed Clinical Fellow Speech-Language Pathologist in Oregon.

    Coco's expertise includes orofacial myofunctional therapy, early intervention, speech sound disorders, and feeding and swallowing disorders. She believes in child-led therapy, emphasizing play and engagement with their surroundings for effective learning. Her focus is on holistic treatment, with tailored plans to ensure optimal functional outcomes for clients and their families.

    Outside the clinic, Coco enjoys quality time with her husband and two young boys, whether it's a visit to the zoo, chasing live music, exploring new parks, or gathering with friends and family.

  • Mallary holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences from the University of Arizona and a Master's degree in speech-language pathology from Idaho State University. Throughout her academic journey, she focused on advancing AAC research for children and adults. Mallary has since been practicing in the private sector, emphasizing collaborative, personalized care plans with families.

    Her professional interests encompass early language acquisition, articulation disorders, phonological speech sound disorders, childhood apraxia of speech, and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC).

    During her free time, you'll find her climbing mountains, skiing, paddling, camping, and exploring Portland's culinary scene (and beyond!).

  • Taylor holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Calgary and a Master's degree in speech-language pathology with a concentration in aural rehabilitation from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. She is a licensed speech-language pathologist in Oregon, holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech and Hearing Association.

    Her career started at an elite rehabilitation hospital, where she worked with traumatic brain injuries, igniting her passion for neuroplasticity. Taylor specializes in pediatric outpatient and private clinics, focusing on early language acquisition, motor speech disorders, and providing neurodiverse-affirming care for the Autistic population. She wholeheartedly embraces her clients' unique abilities and places great importance on connecting with their families.

    In her free time, Taylor enjoys trail running, hiking with her husband, Sam, and exploring the Oregon coast for intertidal sea creatures with her children, Kai and Kennedy.

  • Deana studied Business Administration at Rider University and earned her Master's in Healthcare Administration from Pacific University with a certificate in Healthcare Compliance. With over 8 years in private practice, she enjoys solving complex insurance coverage issues for families.

    During her free time, Deana loves camping and traveling with her wife, Nikki, and their two Australian Shepherds. She also enjoys woodwork and furniture building in her spare moments.
