The initial evaluation is 60 minutes, and follow-up; weekly therapy sessions are 30-45 minutes, depending on clinical recommendation and scheduling availability.

The initial free phone consultation does not require any paperwork.
If it is decided to move on to an evaluation, an intake packet is required before the initial assessment.
This is shared in a link as a fillable PDF that can be filled out on your phone and will be submitted directly to the intake team upon completion.

The first session is about rapport building, meeting and greeting, learning more about primary concerns.
We'll complete some standardized assessments, determine the preliminary treatment plan we'd like to move forward with, and sort out insurance authorization.
During this first session, we'll also work with you to confirm the best time to meet (we have tons of availability during the school day, which is perfect for stay-at-home moms & homeschooled kids!).

Some telltale signs to look for include, but are not limited to:
Increased frustration and tantrums around communication breakdowns/ not being understood
Limited verbal output of any kind. Babbling is verbal output and a precursor to words. If you notice your child is overall ‘quiet’, this is a good indicator you should call.

It depends! We see infants for feeding all of the time.
Speech and language concerns usually do not present until about 18 months old. That said, if your child has an established diagnosis since birth, we would be happy to meet you sooner.
